Atlantic ADHD Clinic, located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, requires an experienced full-time Medical Administrative Assistant.
Bechelor’s degree required as education.
Experience and Skills Required: at least 2 -3 years experience as a Medical Administrative Assistant.
Must be a quick learner with excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, who is flexible, organized, accurate, client focused, reliable, team player with good judgement.
Computer and technology knowledge in MS Office including, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, Electronic mail also an asset.
Working experience on contracts, correspondence, financial statements, invoices and reports and records is also an asset.
Job Duties: Coordinate the flow of information, Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material, Schedule and confirm appointments, Complete insurance and other claim forms, Maintain filing system, Order supplies and maintain inventory, Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review, Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, Perform data entry, Provide customer service.
Wages: Starting at $23 per hour, based on experience; working 35 hours per week (days, mornings, evenings, weekends and on call).
