How to find the right job faster
Read each listing closely
Look for the job type (full-time, part-time, contract), the location (on-site, remote or rotational), the pay range and the closing date. If a listing says “apply externally”, the button takes you to the employer’s own application page.
Use your network and community supports
Many Indigenous organizations offer free employment and training help, including the employment services funded through Canada’s Indigenous Skills and Employment Training (ISET) Program. Your local Friendship Centre, band office or Métis or Inuit organization can often help with resumes, interview practice, training funding and work clothing or tools. Find one near you in our ISET directory.
Explore education funding
If you’re thinking about training or a credential first, see our Indigenous scholarships and educational partnerships.
Never miss a new job
New roles are posted daily and many fill quickly. Set up a free job alert for your field and location, and add your resume so employers can find you. Resumes aren’t visible to the public.
