Landscaping Supervisor Full Time

Leadership and Supervision
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to establish daily work priorities;
• Supervise and support a team of 3 to 4 employees;
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures;
• Monitor and report employee hours worked;
• Act as the first point of contact for resolving on-site issues and unexpected situations before escalating them to the Operations Manager when necessary;
• Maintain effective communication with crew members and management.
Landscape Maintenance Duties
• Mow lawns and maintain turf areas;
• Rake, collect, and remove debris and litter;
• Transport, spread, and level topsoil and other landscaping materials;
• Install sod and perform seeding activities;
• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees;
• Fertilize, water, and maintain plants, lawns, and gardens;
• Rake, collect, and remove leaves during the fall season;
• Perform manual snow removal and apply sand, salt, or other abrasives around buildings to ensure safe access;
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with team members and management;
• Experience operating equipment such as tractors, lawn tractors, pickup trucks, lawn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and other small engine equipment is considered an asset;
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and dusty environments;
• Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and performing demanding tasks involving bending, crouching, kneeling, and extended periods of walking;
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable;
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship;
• Positive leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.
