At Trealship Services, we maintain and repair commercial transportation refrigeration systems, more specifically, Reefer Containers. The Inventory Control Supervisor major role is overseeing the inventory control process at each container yards across the nation. This position does not have any direct reports.
What you will do:
Process, coordinate, and control purchasing orders for spare parts and materials across all sites.
Control and monitor parts shipments from various suppliers, handling material dispatch and transfers between sites for optimal stock utilization.
Ensure precise tracking of stocks & facilitate seamless buying and selling of parts.
Optimize spare part distribution, place timely material orders & maintain accurate records.
Investigate and audit inventory discrepancies, implement necessary stock adjustments and improvements to control procedures.
Deliver exceptional customer service by answering their request and complaints.
Perform billing & assist account receivables department in the collection activities with clients.
Provide excellent customer service with care, sound problem-solving skills, and professionalism
Qualifications:
+3 years inventory control experience in refrigeration M&R, preferably in reefers and containers..
Completed a University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain & Logistics, or any other relevant field.
Experience in Ocean Carriers’ ERP Systems is required.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong computer skills, excel, word and outlook with proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Accounting knowledge.
Sense of personal accountability and drive for results.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Customer service-oriented mindset.
French and English required.
Working Conditions
Office environment; extended periods working at a computer workstation.
Regular interaction with customers and internal departments by phone and email.
