Home Support Worker for Senior with Medical Needs Full Time

A family in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a permanent, full-time Home Support Worker to provide personal care and assistance to an elderly family member with medical needs.

Work Location: Near Macdonald Street and 15th Avenue, Vancouver, BC

Start Date: November 2025

Wage: $23.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Language of Work: English

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Provide companionship and personal care
– Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other aspects of personal hygiene
– Cook and assist with meal preparation
– Assist with feeding or provide meals as needed; plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals
– Administer medications and change non-sterile dressings under supervision
– Collect specimens as directed
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry of clothing and household linens

Requirements:
– Completion of a college program in home support, health care aide, or a related field
– Completion of a training program in elderly care or equivalent practical experience
– Compassionate, patient, and reliable, with good communication skills
