Family Caregiver or personal support worker Full Time

We are a healthcare professional couple seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Live-In Personal Care Worker to assist with the daily care of our two children, one of whom is on the ASD spectrum. This role requires flexibility in schedule to accommodate shift changes as both parents work in the healthcare field. This position is available with provided accommodation. The caregiver will play a crucial role in supporting the children’s daily routines, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment, and assisting with basic household tasks.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide direct care and supervision for two children.
-Support with daily routines, including dressing, hygiene, and structured play.
-Provide emotional support, patience, and understanding in day-to-day care
-Light housekeeping (laundry, Cooking, etc.)
-Simple meal preparation and Cooking
-Accompany children to activities or appointments as needed.
– Maintain open communication with parents and follow care instructions.
-Must be able to adjust schedule to accommodate shift changes ( day/evening/nights)

Qualification:
-CPR and First Aid Certification
-Prior experience working with children ,especially children with ASD ( strongly preferred)
-Clear criminal background check and child abuse registry check
-Ability to work independently and take initiative.
-Willingness to work flexible shifts.
