Job Summary:
Various shifts available: Part Time and Full Time Weekends and Weekdays.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, apartment settings and private homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting the well-being, safety, and independence of the people we support by offering personalized supports tailored to their needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities, household chores, and community activities.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met
Help with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
Documentation and communication with families, other care providers, and medical professionals is a must.
Taking part in ongoing mandatory training is required
