Boudreau Meat Market Inc is looking for individuals to fill their position of Butcher – Retail or Wholesale

Salary: $19.52 / hour

Job requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: experience is an asset

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Odours, Cold/refrigerated

Work setting: Butcher shop, relocation costs not covered by employer, willing to relocate, meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment

Responsibilities:
Tasks:
Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
Wrap and package prepared meats
Remove bones from meat
Weigh meats for sale
Cut poultry into parts
Price meat products
Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
Cut fish into steaks and fillets
Grind meats
Make special sausages
Slice cooked meats
Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
Prepare special orders

Experience and specialization:
Equipment and machinery experience: Band saw, Manual cutting utensil, Power grinder, Salami mixer and cooker, Sausage machine, Slicing machine
