Thales is seeking a dynamic and innovative Autonomous Systems Specialist to develop defense-oriented solutions. The successful candidate will develop and demonstrate new capabilities with air, surface and sub-surface vehicles.

• Transform user requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop designs that meet technical specifications.
• Assist in implementing and validated the developed products.

• 2 years’ experience designing and developing autonomous systems.
• Capacity and drive to continuously learn & apply new technologies and methods.

• Knowledge of and experience with platforms, sensors, communication systems and standards for autonomous systems.
• Knowledge of AI, and the ability to articulate its strengths and weaknesses in terms of mission impacts/success to Customers and End Users.
• Licensed and experienced in the operation of drones in the air, on the surface, and under the surface.

• Schedule: On Call
• Physical Environment: Hybrid Work Arrangement – working remotely from home and some time will be required in the office
• Travel: Light
