Maintenance Electrician / Millwright (Plastics) Full Time

About the Role

Maintenance Electricians and Millwrights keep machinery running safely and efficiently. You’ll troubleshoot electrical systems, replace components, and help install or upgrade production equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair molding and packaging equipment

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on production lines

• Replace motors, drives, belts, sensors, and control components

• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain logs

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals

• Follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) or Industrial Mechanic (Millwright 433A) preferred

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills

• Ability to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed

Wage Range Estimate (Ontario)

• Low: $34.00 / hr

• Median: $40.00 / hr

• High: $46.00 / hr
