Power Generation Field Service Technician (Lloydminster) Full Time NEW
DESCRIPTION
Cummins is looking for a Field service power generation technician to support the local business division in Lloydminster, AB
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Establishes and continually develops productive customer relations and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs
- Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete complex repairs at customer site.
- Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field
- Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Completes training in line with skill and business requirements
- Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Education, license, certification:
- Heavy duty equipment journeyman certification is required
- Current relevant electrical certification (is an asset)
- Locally valid driving permit.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Intermediate level of field service related experience required.
- Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products is required.
- High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
About the role
- Salary ranges between 45.00$ hourly and 55.00$ hourly, depending on experience
- Full time on call is required for this position (daily premium)
- Cummins offers a 5000$ sign on bonus for this role
- Position to service our business in Lloydminster.
- Preventive maintenance.
- Load banking.
- Engine work.
- Service truck provided.
