Welder / Fabricator Full Time

About the Role

Welders and Fabricators join metal parts together to create structures, frames, and components. This role combines technical skill with hands-on craftsmanship.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding on steel, aluminum, or stainless steel

• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols

• Cut, grind, and prepare materials before welding

• Inspect welds for quality and strength

• Operate fabrication tools such as saws, brakes, and presses

• Follow safety standards and maintain welding equipment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Welding certification or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of welding techniques and safety practices

• Ability to work from drawings and specifications

• Physical stamina and manual dexterity

• Apprenticeship experience is an asset

Wage Range Estimate (Ontario)

• Low: $24.00 / hour

• Median: $30.00 / hour

• High: $38.00 / hour
