Truck driver Full Time

Hours of Work: 40 to 60 hours per week
Job Description:
Transport BTC is seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. The position requires strict adherence to all applicable transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories
Ensure cargo is properly secured in accordance with safety requirements
Maintain accurate records of hours of service, mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries
Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
Comply with all federal and provincial transportation laws and regulations
Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly

Employment Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is an asset
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a truck driver
Valid Class 1/AZ driver’s license
Clean driving record (driver’s abstract may be required)
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability
Basic communication skills in English

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Long hours of driving, including evenings or weekends if required
Physically demanding; may involve loading and unloading cargo
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
