Job Summary:
As a Service Advisor at New West Truck Centres, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You will coordinate service work, communicate with departments, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relations (70%)
• Greet customers and collect vehicle/service information
• Verify VINs, mileage, and contact info
• Explain available services and promotions
• Maintain accurate customer records
• Act as liaison between Service, Parts, and Sales teams
Problem Solving (30%)
• Work hands-on with parts team to ensure timely service
• Troubleshoot scheduling and repair logistics
• Ensure parts availability for repairs
Qualifications:
Education:
• High school diploma required
• Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
Experience & Skills:
• Strong customer service abilities
• English; additional languages are an asset
• Minimum 1 year Industry experience (automotive or heavy-duty/commercial vehicles)
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office and internal systems)
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
• Strong communication and presentation skills
