SAP Quality Assurance Full Time

Quin-Sea Fisheries is a leading fish processing company based in Newfoundland and Labrador, proudly delivering premium North Atlantic Seafood to global markets for over 36 years. Quin-Sea is recognized for its dedication to quality, traceability, sustainability, and food safety across all operations.

Currently, we have 1 opening for an experienced SAP Quality Assurance professional to join our team in St. John’s. This role is ideal for someone with significant SAP expertise and a strong background in seafood processing who is ready to contribute to quality-driven operations across multiple locations.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Configure and maintain SAP Quality Management workflows for processing shellfish, groundfish, and pelagic species;
• Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and performance tests for SAP QM, MM, and PP modules in SAP S/4HANA;
• Define sampling procedures, setup defect codes, and manage quality notifications;
• Analyze quality data such as temperature excursions, spoilage and contamination issues to support process improvements;
• Ensure full product traceability from catch to final packaging through collaboration with Production, QA, and Supply Chain teams;
• Log and manage system defects using tools suck as JIRA or HP ALM, and verify corrective measures;
• Support SAP patches, upgrades, and enhancements with comprehensive regression testing and documentation;
• Create and deliver SAP QM training materials and conduct sessions for staff;
• Willingness to travel to various remote seafood processing locations across Newfoundland as part of the role.

Key Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP Quality Management Assurance experience with SAP QM, MM, and PP modules
• Mandatory background in seafood or food processing industry with strong process and compliance knowledge
• Proficient in SAP S/4HANA and familiar with testing and QA platforms (e.g. JIRA, HP ALM)
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to company facilities throughout Newfoundland.
• English language skills required.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent position
Compensation: $1500 per week
