Retail Store Supervisor Full Time
The Kitasoo Xai’xais Community Store is currently seeking a reliable and organized Retail Store Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day operations of our community store. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, retail experience, and a passion for serving the community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a smooth-running store.
• Supervise staff during shifts, provide guidance, and assist with scheduling and task delegation.
• Ensure shelves are stocked, displays are tidy, and the store is clean and welcoming.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues that arise on the floor.
• Assist with inventory control, receiving deliveries, and stock rotation.
• Help train new employees and support team performance and morale.
• Ensure store policies and health & safety standards are followed
Wage:
• CAD 27.50 per hour, 40 hours per week

Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity in retail.
• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team positively and respectfully.
• Organized and dependable, with strong attention to detail.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with computers and cash handling.
• Experience working in a community-based or Indigenous organization is an asset.
