Job duties:
· Liaising and negotiating with local and oversea suppliers regarding purchase price, discounts, and transportation arrangement
· Liaising with customers, mainly local small business owners regarding sales prices, discounts, credit terms, and delivery schedules, and invoicing
customers
· Establish good rapport with existing and potential customers
· Researching and studying customer’s purchase preference and market trend to determine what merchandise to be sold and priced, as well as
developing and implementing accordant sales goals and strategies to increase revenue
· Working with the owner to monitor and plan budgets and revenues
· May assist the owner to hire and train new staffs for sales related tasks
· Studying display plans, sale promotion, and advertising towards marketing merchandise in a profitable manner.
· Maintaining inventories and approve contracts to ensure consistent availability of the required services and merchandise
· Collaborating with other members of staff that have good understanding about service requirements
Job Requirement:
· High School Diploma or equivalent education background
· At least 5 years of experience in retail management in a sizeable supermarket or wholesale centre
· Possess efficient verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure and multitask
· Able to work overtime and on weekends, and have flexible schedule
Workdays:
· 6 to 8 hour shift
· Monday to Friday
Wage:
$46.00/ hour
Benefits:
· 1.5 times overtime pay
· 4% vacation pay
