Retail Butcher Full Time

WILLIE’S MEATS LTD is looking for one (1) Retail Butcher to join the Troy, Ontario team. This position is a full-time permanent position.

Job duties:
-Cut, trim, bone and otherwise prepare custom and/ or standard cuts of meat and poultry
-Prepare and wrap and package meats for display and delivery
-Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats and poultry
-Manage inventory and keep records of sales and determine freshness of products according to requirements
-Adhere to food safety standards
-Adhere to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)
-Ensure food storage conditions are adequate

Education requirements:
-High school or equivalent
-Specialized training in Butchery is an asset

Experience requirements:
-Minimum 1-2 years of direct experience in Butchery

Wages and hours: $36.00 per hour for 30-40 hours per week
