Job Description: Thunder Bay African Restaurant is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and support a high standard of service. This is an important leadership role responsible for staff supervision, operational efficiency, inventory, budgeting, and customer satisfaction. Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies; Evaluate daily operations; Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget; Recruit staff; Set staff work schedules; Supervise staff; Train staff; Cost products and services; Organize and maintain inventory; Ensure health and safety regulations are followed; Leading/instructing individuals; Address customers’ complaints or concerns.

Responsibilities: Supervision of 1 to 2 people. Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Repetitive tasks; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods.
