About the Position
Chiang Mai is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, supervise staff, manage financial and operational activities, and ensure a high standard of customer service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient restaurant operations, monitoring costs and staff performance, implementing operational procedures, and supporting the continued success of the business.
Responsibilities
Analyze budgets to support and maintain restaurant profitability
Develop budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen supplies, and cleaning supplies
Evaluate daily restaurant operations
Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
Monitor revenues and labour costs
Monitor staff performance
Plan and organize daily restaurant operations
Recruit staff
Prepare and manage staff work schedules
Supervise staff
Train staff
Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Conduct employee performance reviews
Cost products and services
Ensure compliance with provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations
Participate in marketing plans and implementation
Lead and instruct employees
Address customer complaints and concerns
Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications
Language:
English
Education:
College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
