Job Description
Duties:
• Supervise, coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts to ensure efficient service, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company standards.
• Monitor and evaluate operational performance, customer service levels, sales activities, and workflow efficiency, and implement corrective measures to improve productivity and service quality.
• Lead, train, coach, motivate and supervise staff, provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure employees adhere to operational procedures and service standards.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and training new employees to maintain adequate staffing levels and support business growth.
• Prepare and manage employee work schedules, shift assignments, break periods, and leave requests to ensure appropriate staffing and compliance with labour regulations.
• Plan, organize and coordinate daily restaurant activities, including staffing, inventory management, and operational readiness for peak business periods.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, sanitation requirements, security procedures, government regulations, and company policies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, special events, and customer engagement activities to support sales growth.
• Monitor inventory levels, oversee product usage, minimize waste, assist with stock receiving and rotation, and report inventory shortages or discrepancies.
• Complete operational reports, inventory records, sales reconciliations, and shift checklists, and assist in maintaining accurate business records.
• Identify and promptly report safety, sanitation, security, or operational concerns, implement immediate corrective actions where necessary, and escalate issues to management.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair activities, including reporting equipment malfunctions, creating service requests, and monitoring repair or replacement requirements.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of supervisory Experience is required
