JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Recruit staff and oversee staff training
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.
REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:
At least two years of experience in the food service industry;
Some previous supervisory experience;
Some knowledge of noodles preferred;
Proven ability to respond to respond to customer complaints effectively;
Speaking and writing Mandarin is an asset, but we welcome applications from applicants without this language
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
