As a Regional Supervisor in Child and Family Services, you lead with clarity and compassion, guiding social workers through complex child protection, family reunification, and permanency planning decisions.

The sun has barely crested the horizon over the Mackenzie Delta when your day begins. A message from one of your social workers is waiting, followed by a morning case consultation with your team.

Around the table, you guide discussions on child protection concerns, support workers through complex family situations, and help shape plans that keep children safe while strengthening families and communities.

As Regional Supervisor, you don’t lead from the sidelines. You coach, mentor, and inspire. You celebrate successes, navigate challenges together, and create an environment where your team feels supported, confident, and empowered to do some of the most important work in the North. Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with Indigenous organizations, schools, healthcare professionals, RCMP members, and community leaders, building partnerships that create better outcomes for children and families.

Between leadership meetings, case reviews, and community conversations, you’ll find yourself drawn into the rhythm of life in Inuvik.

Compensation:
• Salary: $116,259 – $138,87
• Paid Benefits: $14,304 – $15,504 in the first year

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social work with 3 years of related experience, including at least 1 year of direct supervisory experience, OR Diploma in Social Work with 5 years of directly related experience, including at least 2 years of direct supervisory experience
