Job Description:
Stand on a mechanical processing line and inspect poultry to ensure product quality and compliance with
processing standards.
Skin, clean, trim and wash poultry carcasses for further processing or packaging.
Eviscerate poultry by removing viscera and other inedible parts during manual and line processing.
Use knives and hand tools to debone poultry and remove skin, excess fat, bruises and other blemishes from
carcasses or meat portions.
Remove feathers, singe and wash poultry as part of the processing line.
Harvest chicken feet and complete final trimming and finishing of poultry parts.
Rehang processed chickens for transfer to the second processing line.
Monitor and operate processing equipment such as the MPIP and vent gun in a safe and efficient manner.
Cut meat and poultry into specific portions for institutional, commercial and wholesale use.
Receive direction from the Supervisor and assist in organizing work among a small production line team.
Ensure the production line is operating safely, efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary: $24.00 hourly, 37 – 42 Hours per week.
