The Pipefitter / Foreman, under the direction of the appropriate project manager and the Mechanical Operations Manager, will primarily be responsible for leading and running mechanical jobs and projects in the fuel industry. This is a full-time position based at out head office in Vaughan, Ontario however the work will be at job sites primarily in Ontario but also other parts of Canada.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead field work for mechanical projects in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining the project schedule and budget.
• Troubleshoot issues when they arise in the field and provide solutions to keep projects moving forward.
• Manage the mechanical field project team to ensure work is being performed safely and efficiently.
• Repair, replace or service, new or existing fuel terminal process systems to determine maintenance or repair needs.
• Fitting, cutting, torching/tacking, welding structural steel and pipe as required.
• Ability to visualize a layout by looking at project plans, ability to interpret drawings and plan efficient mechanical fabrication and assembly of process equipment.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget, while following Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
About You:
• 5-10 years’ proven experience working as a Pipefitter/Welder. Experience in oil, gas & energy construction is required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical concepts, proficient in reading mechanical drawings (general arrangements, isometric drawings etc.).
• Ability to field measure prior to project fabrication to ensure project drawings are accurate.
• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands, ability to manage construction crews in high pressure situations.
• Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment, ability to provide solutions to client quickly at job sites.
• Certified Pipefitter with experience running large construction projects in the oil and gas industry.
• Ability to travel to job site to execute projects.
• Proficiency and certificates in welding structural steel and pipe an asset.
• Familiar with equipment used at Fueling Terminals.
• Certificates for equipment operation an asset (telehandler, elevated work platform).
