Job duties:
– Assist elderly family member with a variety of tasks, including personal and bedside care, hygiene, medications, and exercise routine
– Prepare and serve meals
– Perform cleaning duties such as laundry, cleaning dishes, sweeping floors
– Transport, or plan transportation of, family member to health-related appointments and obligations
– Respond to emergency situations that may arise and provide immediate care, when required

Terms of employment: Full-time (between 30-40 hours per week); morning, daytime, and weekend shifts

Wage: $20.00/hour

Education required: Completion of high school is required.

Work experience required: Minimum of 6 months of experience with caring for the elderly or infirm is required.

Language requirement: Fluent communication in English is required. Communication in Punjabi is an asset to the position.

Skill Requirements: First Aid Certification is required, and proof of certification will be requested during hiring process.
