Personal Care Provider – Home Care – Elder Care Full Time

Work in employer’s/client’s home – Searching for a compassionate, patient and friendly personal support care giver for an elderly woman with mobility and other health issues.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience.
Job Requirements:
Languages :English
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: 5 years or more
Work site environment: Non-smoking
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home- Employer’s home

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
Administer medications
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Launder clothing and household linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship
Provide personal care to elderly woman
Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Credentials:
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
First Aid Certificate
Health Care Aide Certificate
Personal Support Worker Certificate

Experience and specialization: Persons with Alzheimer’s disease, Elderly, Females, Persons with a disability, Persons with physical disabilities
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Reference required
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
