Nurse Aide Full Time

• Work setting: Home care and visiting care agency, Various locations, Nursing home/home for the aged
• Tasks: Serve meal trays and feed patients
o Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
o Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
o Maintain inventory of supplies
o Bathe, dress and groom patients
o Assist with the set-up and maintenance of traction equipment, cleaning or sterilizing equipment, maintaining and repairing equipment, and assembling, setting-up and operating job-related equipment
o Transport patients between care facilities
o Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
o Accompany patients on outside recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
o Administer first aid in emergency situations
