We are seeking a Red Seal Millwright / Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to join our team at a family-owned wood products manufacturing facility.
Late-stage apprenticeships would be considered as well (3rd year +)
This role offers a 4 x 10-hour schedule (Monday–Thursday) and the opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment supporting post-and-rail production, dry kilns, and a pressure-treating plant. In a smaller operation, the millwright plays a key role in keeping production running and improving equipment reliability.

4-day work week (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts)

What You’ll Do
Maintain, repair, and install industrial production equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and minimize downtime
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
Support operations across post-and-rail equipment, kilns, and pressure treating systems
Enter maintenance work orders and parts usage within ERP / maintenance systems
Assist with equipment reliability improvements and upgrades
What We’re Looking For
Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) – Red Seal
Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
Computer literacy is a must
Comfort/experience working with ERP or maintenance software a strong asset
Experience in wood products, sawmill, or similar industrial environment is an asset
Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
