This role supports plant uptime through troubleshooting, repair work, and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities may be electrical, mechanical, or a mix depending on the facility.
What you’ll do
Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs safely
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
Support shutdown work and urgent breakdown response
Follow lockout/tagout and all site safety procedures
Maintain records of repairs, parts, and maintenance schedules
Suggest improvements to reduce downtime and increase safety
What makes someone successful here
Trade ticket (309A/442A or Millwright 433A) or strong apprenticeship progress
Solid troubleshooting approach and safe work habits
Experience with industrial equipment (conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics)
Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
Nice to have
PLC familiarity (electrician pathway)
Welding or fabrication skills (millwright pathway)
