The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the safe administration, documentation, and management of client medications in alignment with physician directives and Battlefords Treatment Centre policies. This role serves as a key liaison between the treatment centre and the pharmacy, ensuring continuity of care through accurate medication handling, infection control practices, and timely communication with the counselling team.
Duties also include organizing client medication for discharge, maintaining up-to-date records, and supporting overall treatment operations and accreditation standards.
Previous experience in addictions or a treatment centre setting is a strong asset. Knowledge of Indigenous culture and wellness approaches is highly valued and contributes to a culturally safe, client-centered care environment.
