Main duties and responsibilities
● Verify and inspect the quality of finished products in accordance with company standards.
● Ensure full compliance of products leaving the plant (e.g., broken bags, cleanliness, proper sealing).
● Load finished products onto flatbeds and trailers using a forklift at the loading dock.
● Prepare, review, and complete all required shipping documents and order forms.
● Ensure products are clean and properly packaged before shipping.
● Maintain health and safety standards within the reception and loading areas.
● Communicate with operators from the previous and next shifts to ensure proper information transfer.
● Contact the appropriate personnel when issues arise or when specific requests must be addressed.
● Inspect finished goods for cleanliness and packaging defects to ensure product conformity before distribution.
Job Requirements and Working Conditions
● The candidate must hold at minimum a one year College diploma.
● The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
● The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English
● The candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team.
● Competency card and work experience as a forklift operator may be an asset.
Employment status: Permanent, full time (36 to 48 hours per week)
A rate of 1.5 times the base salary will be applied after 40 hours.
Wage offered: $21.92/hr
