Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Certificates: First Aid Certificate, Caregiver Certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Work site environment: Non-smoking
Work Setting: Employer’s home, Rural area, Staff accommodation provided, Room and board provided, Work in employer’s/client’s home
Responsibilities
Tasks:
Administer bedside and personal care
Administer medications
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Feed or assist in feeding
Mend clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide personal care
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
