Landscaping Supervisor Full Time NEW
Habanero Landscape Solutions is seeking an experienced Landscaping Supervisor to lead landscape construction crews and oversee the successful delivery of residential and commercial landscape projects throughout Greater Victoria.
The successful candidate will coordinate daily operations, supervise staff, ensure quality workmanship, maintain safety standards, and support project planning and execution.
Responsibilities include:
• Hire, supervise and schedule staff
• Coordinate and schedule work activities
• Plan and estimate labour and material requirements
• Read and interpret plans and drawings
• Organize and supervise landscape construction projects
• Coordinate retaining wall, drainage, hardscape and irrigation installations
• Requisition materials, equipment and supplies
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
• Resolve worksite issues and improve productivity and quality
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of landscape construction or related experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Criminal Record Check
• Ability to read plans and coordinate crews
• Strong leadership and communication skills
Compensation:
• $38.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
• Permanent full-time position
