We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Landscape Labourer to support the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high-quality landscape standards, ensuring properties remain attractive, well-presented, and professionally maintained throughout the year.

As a Landscape Labourer with our company, you will be responsible for:
• Perform lawn maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, edging, aerating, dethatching, fertilizing, and watering lawns and landscaped areas.
• Assist with landscape construction projects by preparing work sites, spreading topsoil, grading surfaces, and installing landscape materials and related structures.
• Lay sod, apply grass seed, and perform turf establishment and restoration activities.
• Plant flowers, bulbs, shrubs, and trees and maintain landscaped beds and garden areas.
• Weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees, remove unwanted vegetation, and perform routine horticultural maintenance.
• Rake leaves, collect litter and debris, remove branches, and perform seasonal grounds cleanup and general property maintenance activities.
• Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment including power mowers, tractors, forklifts, string trimmers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, sod cutters, and pruning tools.
• Apply approved treatments to lawns, trees, shrubs, and gardens to assist with insect, weed, and disease control programs and perform general manual labour to maintain landscaped environments.

Employment requirements:
• Completion of secondary school education is an asset
• At least 6 months of experience as a landscape labourer is preferred but not required
• Ability to operate a forklift and other landscaping equipment is an asset

Physical Demands and Work Condition:
• Standing on your feet for several hours
• Making repetitive motions
• Physical demanding; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Work outside in various weather conditions
• Handling material manually

• Strong work ethic, problem-solving, and comfortable with working independently
• Keen observation skills to inspect and maintain yard facilities, equipment, vehicles, and inventory
• Passion for creating aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
