Star House Family Restaurant, located in Prince Albert, is the home of authentic Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine. The menu features classic Chinese food such as chow mein, fried rice, chicken meat balls, and pork spare ribs. We also offer different Canadian favorites such as steak, shrimp, and Greek ribs.

Job Duties: 
1.Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits.
2.Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as slicing meats, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes.
3.Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using dishwashers or by hand.
4.Take out garbage and clean waste areas regularly.
5.Keep the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and equipment, clean and organized.
6.Unpack and store deliveries of food, supplies, and equipment.
7.Notify supervisors of any shortages or issues with food or kitchen equipment.
8.Assist chefs and cooks with any tasks as needed during busy service periods.

Qualifications:
1.High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2.Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
3.Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
4.Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
5.Willing to learn and take on various kitchen duties.
6.Attention to detail and cleanliness.
