Warehouse Operator – Summer student position Full Time

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a student to join our team In Mississauga, for the summer, in a warehouse operator role.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.
• Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program (College or University)This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

• Minimal experience required.
• Ability to read and sort parts.
• Computer savvy.
• Physically fit-able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse experience is an asset.

About the role:

• Union environment
• Working hours are Monday-Friday and are flexible ( 7am-330pm,8am-430pm or 9am-530pm)
• The position is to start early June 2025 until the end of summer.
