Chassis Technician Full Time
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team as a chassis technician in Surrey, BC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs and maintenance on chassis products in a service workshop under supervision.
- Apply documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools.
- Disassemble, clean and inspect chassis and /or chassis components.
- Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Complete training in line with skill and business requirements
- Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- Red seal Truck and transport mechanic certification.
- Locally valid driving permit.
- CVIP inspector’s licence.
- A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Must have 1-2 years of experience working with mid-range and/or heavy-duty engines.
- Completing complex internal engine repairs.
- Performing engine overhauls unassisted.
- Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components (tier 4).
- Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software.
- Proficient experience in chassis diagnostics and repairs.
- Minimal level of work shop experience required.
- Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with chassis products.

- Working hours will be 630am to 5pm on a 4X10 schedule

Compensation and Benefits
