Indigenous Skills and Employment Training (ISET) Coordinator Contract NEW

The BCNWA ISET (Indigenous Skills and Employment Training) Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Indigenous women in their diversity (First Nations, Metis, Inuit) in accessing education, training, and employment opportunities.

The ISET Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of client participation in the ISET program. This includes processing applications requesting funding at a qualified educational or training institutions; assessing client eligibility for a living allowance and other supports; monitoring client progress (case management) throughout the intervention; developing employer and institutional partnerships; maintaining accurate client and financial records; regional promotion and marketing of the program; and compliance and reporting requirements as outlined by the BC Native Women’s Association (BCNWA) and the Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
