Our organization prioritizes guest wellbeing, operational efficiency, community building, and property development, positioning us as a leading provider of accommodation solutions.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance for an Indigenous individual to embark on a comprehensive training program aimed at developing the necessary skills to become a future leader within our company. As a Management Trainee, you will engage in various training modules and hands-on projects under the guidance of experienced managers and senior professionals. Through mentorship and exposure to different functional areas within Civeo Crown Services Employees LP, you will cultivate your abilities and contribute to our team’s success.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional work ethic, a positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will follow a rotational schedule of 20 days on and 10 days off, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays. This program typically spans up to 18 months, and upon its conclusion, there may be opportunities for further advancement within the company, based on the Trainee’s performance and achievements throughout the program.

Key Skill Development:

Through this role, the selected individual will acquire the following skills:

• Proficiency in various facets of Lodge Operations, including Housekeeping, Culinary, Front Office Administration, Human Resources, and Labour Relations.
• Skills in planning, Safe Work Practices, and other pertinent areas of business pertaining to catering and lodge management.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform “hands-on” field work, mastering physical demands and labor-intensive tasks, while adapting to extended hours in remote locations.
• Commitment to learning and understanding tasks at each stage of the training program, encompassing proper work procedures, job planning, safety protocols, cost awareness, and the cultivation of team and customer relations.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as compliance with health and safety regulations, always ensuring the maintenance of safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Self-identify as Indigenous
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
• Familiar with MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Outgoing and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Demonstrates curiosity and a strong willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and a team-player.
• Able to work well independently and within team environment.
• Willing and able to travel.
• Possess a valid Class 5 Drivers license and driver abstract that meets company’s Safe Vehicle Use policy.
• Must be able to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
• Previous camp experience is an asset.
