We are a family in Vancouver seeking a caring, and responsible Home Child Caregiver (NOC 44100) to support the daily care needs of our one-year-old daughter. The caregiver will provide nurturing, patient, and attentive care in a safe and loving home environment. This is a live-out position.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Fixed Schedule: Sunday: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; Wednesday to Saturday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Duties
• Provide full-time care, supervision, and safety for a 1-year-old child in the employer’s home.
• Assist with feeding, changing diaper, dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene appropriate for the age.
• Maintain and follow the child’s daily routines, including naps, feeding times, and structured play.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, snacks, and bottles as needed.
• Plan and engage the child in developmentally appropriate activities, such as reading, sensory play, outdoor walks, and motor-skill exercises.
• Monitor and report on the child’s physical, emotional, and social development to the parents.
• Keep the child’s environment clean, organized, and safe, including sanitizing toys, tidying play areas, and maintaining cleanliness after meals and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the child, such as child laundry, cleaning bottles, and organizing the child’s room.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow household safety rules at all times.
• Follow parents’ guidance regarding routines, discipline, health needs, and developmental goals.
• Accompany the child on outings or appointments as required.
• Provide a nurturing, emotionally supportive environment, ensuring the child’s comfort and well-being.
Qualifications
• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Certificate in childcare training program or related field
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to work on a fixed schedule on a long-term basis
• Must be reliable, caring, patient, and able to work independently.
