We are a private household in Vancouver seeking a responsible, caring Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100) to care for our child(ren) in our home. We welcome applications from Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents of Canada with a valid work permit, including Indigenous job seekers.
Position Details
Title of position: Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100)
Vacancies: 1
Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time (30 to 40 hours per week)
Shifts: Early morning, evening, weekend (working hours approximately 07:00 to 19:00, with a break in the middle)
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Start date: As early as June 30, 2026
Location of work: Employer’s private home, Vancouver, BC V6H 2B9 (on-site; no remote work)
Language of work: English
Education and Experience
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of child care experience
Responsibilities / Tasks
• Change diapers and follow parents’ lead with toilet training
• Supervise and care for children
• Bathe, dress and feed children; prepare children for rest periods
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Take children to and from school and to appointments
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children
• Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties

• CPR Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
Additional Requirements
• Criminal record check
• Valid driver’s licence; driver’s licence validity check
• Willing to travel
