Job Description:
We seek caring and dedicated Health Care Aides (HCAs) to join our growing team. As an HCA, you will provide personal support and care to individuals in our facility or in their homes, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
Supply and empty bed pans
Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required
Serve meal trays and feed patients
Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
Bathe, dress and groom patients
Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
Answer call signals to determine patients’ needs
Administer first aid in emergency situations
Communicate effectively with patients in their preferred language, ensuring comfort and understanding.
Perform light housekeeping tasks
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
