Job Duties:
1. Prepare and irrigate soil and layout for planting.
2. Sort harvested crops based on size, ripeness, or other quality parameters. Package crops into containers, crates, or other packaging materials for transportation.
3. Discard damaged or substandard produce to maintain high-quality standards.
4. Work closely with other harvesting labourers to efficiently and swiftly complete tasks. Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate with team members to optimize workflow.
5. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
6. Assist in light farm maintenance, cleaning and organizing farming and storage areas.
7. Clean and sanitize harvesting tools and areas, ensuring that pathways, access points, and work areas are clear of obstacles and debris.
8. Monitor and record production/inventory information and data.
