Hairstylist Full Time

7109938 Canada Ltd o/a First Choice Haircutters located in New Minas, Nova Scotia requires an experienced full-time Hairstylist.
Experience and Skills Required: At least 2 – 3 years experience as a Hair stylist.
Must be reliable and client focused. Candidate also should have excellent oral communication and team player.
Should posses secondary (high) school graduate certificate. Having Hairstylist License is preferred.
Job Duties: Provide custom hair and scalp treatment, Shampoo customers’ hair, Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages, Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair, Apply hair extensions, Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair, Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features and preferences, Perform receptionist duties, Maintain and order supplies
Candidates should have experience in hair styling techniques in Blow drying, Hair braiding, Iron waving/curling, Permanents, Extensions, Twisting, Locking, Relaxing, Spiking, Pin curls, Roller setting and Hair colouring techniques in Bleach, Dyes/tints, Frosting, Streaking/highlights
Wages: Starting at $15.70 – 17.20 per hour; working 30 – 40 hours per week
