Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, and various aspects of framing and carpentry. This role involves working on commercial and residential projects, ensuring structures are built safely, efficiently, and to precise specifications. The Building Framer will collaborate with project managers, architects, and other trades to deliver high-quality construction outcomes.
Responsibilities
Erect metal buildings and structural frameworks according to schematics and blueprints
Install rebar and perform concrete forming to support foundational work
Execute framing tasks including wood, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry
Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and effectively
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction
Perform masonry work such as stucco, siding, and plastering as needed
Install roofing components and siding materials to complete exterior structures
Manage construction site safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Assist with remodeling, restoration projects, and other specialized construction tasks
Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting, material handling, and site management
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on framing, metal building erection, or related trades
Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
Knowledge of concrete finishing, masonry techniques, roofing, siding, and drywall installation
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
Strong understanding of construction management principles and safety standards
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing complex projects
Relevant certifications or licenses related to construction or heavy equipment operation are advantageous
