Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Poultry Worker to join our farm operations. This role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on poultry care and farm maintenance. Responsibilities
Assist with the daily care and management of poultry, including feeding, watering, and cleaning enclosures
Operate farm machinery safely and efficiently for tasks such as cleaning, feeding, and equipment maintenance
Perform heavy lifting when handling feed bags, poultry crates, or other supplies
Monitor poultry health and report any signs of illness or distress to supervisors
Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Support the installation, repair, and maintenance of farm equipment as needed
Follow all farm safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
Skills
Mechanical knowledge is preferred to assist with farm machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during daily tasks
Experience or familiarity with farm machinery is a plus for operating equipment efficiently
Strong physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
Willingness to learn about poultry farming practices and safety procedures
