ECE-A Full Time
We are looking for an individual whose passion, professionalism and energetic nature will enhance our team of early childhood
educators (ECE), who are inspired by the Reggio approach to education and care and who are guided by the BC Early Learning Framework (BC ELF). Together, with your program team, you will offer:
• an emergent curriculum that supports and models active listening
• slow learning – following and acknowledging the interest of children and provide
questions that help children deepen their interests
• understanding the research component of emergent curriculum that gives
children invitations to learn and grow in their understanding and knowledge
• implement a daily balance of active/quiet, indoor/outdoor, free/structures,
individual/group activities that will encourage physical, social, intellectual,
emotional and sensory development in the appropriate age and stage for each
child.
You possess:
• Valid ECE License issued by BC ECE Registry
• Valid child appropriate First Aid/CPR; CRC upon confirmation of employment
• 3 professional references
• Fully vaccinated against COVID19 vaccine
• Work authorization to work in Canada
• Strong sense of responsibility and dependability
• A positive, fun-loving attitude
• Ability to work in a team as well as being self-motivated
• Flexibility to work as the Centre’s operational needs may dictate, across all
programs
