Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Animal Food Dryer Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drying equipment, ensuring all processes comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control standards. This position plays a critical role in our 24/7 operations and supports the company’s Food Safety and Quality Program.

Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently operate the Animal Food Dryer and related systems, ensuring high-quality product output.
• Maintain logs and complete all associated documentation accurately.
• Run concentration systems and clean tanks, lines, and membranes using CIP systems.
• Monitor and record temperatures, perform testing, and ensure product samples are submitted to the lab.
• Follow all SOPs, including safety, sanitation, and food safety protocols.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs and provide support across other roles as needed.
• Operate machinery, including pumps, reverse osmosis, and a pallet jack.
• Assist with inventory counts and support a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma required; experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (food, chemical, or related industries) preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, or similar quality systems is an asset.
• Minimum of 7 months experience operating a dryer.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate processing equipment safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift 25 kg and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• PLC experience is an asset.
