Periodic custodian (Heavy Duty) Full Time Permanent

As a Periodic Custodian, reporting to the Account Director, you will be responsible for cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors, carpet extraction, power washing, cleaning windows and the cleaning of all surfaces that must be reached by ladder. You will also assist with cleaning and covering other custodial absences. This position works weekends Saturday and Sunday days and evenings throughout the week. This position covers multiple locations from Pickering to Port Hope

Your work will include:

• Cleans glass and or high dust in areas which may include requiring ladders or extension poles
• Power wash as required
• Transports cleaning machinery, when necessary, between floors and work areas.
• Carpet extraction
• Buffing floors 
• Strips and wax hard surfaces
• Assist with cleaning when requested

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Must have lived in Canada for 5 years and an ability to obtain security clearance 
• Must have 6 months or more experience with floor refinishing 
• Must have a willingness to work with cleaning machines
• Able to work weekends permanently
